The challenge
A car enthusiast usually needs several apps at once: one to find a car or a part, another to picture a tuning project, a third to show the result to friends. Builds and conversations are scattered, and you can only see how new wheels will look on your car in a workshop.
FORMACAR needed a single ecosystem under one account: listings for cars and parts worldwide, a 3D configurator, wheel try-on in augmented reality, a social network and news — in the languages of the markets where the product operates. The SHARK DEV team built the iOS and Android apps, the 3D client and the server.

What we built
Listings for cars and parts
Buying and selling cars, parts and tuning products worldwide. A listing can include translations into other languages.
3D tuning configurator
A virtual showroom: body and interior colors, body kits and tuning packages, vinyl and decals, wheels, brakes, tires and suspension. You can save a build and share it.
AR mode
Try wheels on your own car in augmented reality and project a 3D model of a car into the real world — before you buy, and without a trip to a workshop.
Social network for car enthusiasts
Profiles, chat and publishing your builds: you can show a project to friends or a buyer right in the app.
Automotive news
A news feed in the same app: users stay in the product between searching, tuning and chatting.
Apps, 3D client and server
Apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, the configurator's 3D client and a server for all sections — one account and the same data everywhere. The interface is available in the languages of the product's markets.
